Student Internship Program
We offer a robust internship program for undergraduate and graduate students interested in advancing university programs and initiatives to enhance their professional skills. Interns will work on tasks and projects aligned with their interests and often, their educational and career goals.
Our interns bring to their role a variety of skills, experiences, and interests, contributing to Cal Poly's efforts to foster an inclusive climate. They collaborate with multiple campus stakeholders to support campus and community events and provide essential day-to-day support for the Office's operations and core services.
The BEACoN Research Program Intern will report directly to and assist the BEACoN Research Mentoring Program Faculty Fellow, Dr. Kelly Bennion. The student lead will work collectively to execute projects and support the overall function of the BEACoN Research Program. The BEACoN liaison serves as an ambassador for Culture and Institutional Excellence and will be required to attend an orientation training in the fall as well as weekly intern meetings.
