Guest Speaker event with Dr. Danielle Wood on 4/23

Join others in attending the inaugural community Diversity Speaker Series for a talk with Dr. Danielle Wood from 4:00pm-5:15pm on Saturday 4/32 at the San Luis Obispo Library Community Room.

As the director of the cutting-edge Space Enabled research group at MIT’s Media Lab, Danielle Wood applies designs enabled by space research to projects that advance social good here on Earth – whether that’s fighting for climate justice, addressing social inequities, or preventing the next famine. She shows us how entrepreneurial spirit and cross-disciplinary collaboration can be used to bring about a more just and innovative future.

This event is in partnership with the City’s Office of Diversity Equity and Inclusion and co-sponsored by Cal Poly’s Office of University Diversity and Inclusion, and The Diversity Coalition.
