Strategic Diversity Leadership Institute

OCTOBER 17 and 18, 2019

*ANNOUNCEMENT*

Dear Campus Community,

We hope your plans for today include participating in the second day of the Strategic Diversity Leadership Institute.  Today’s sessions help participants become more familiar with the data and generate ideas on how you can personally contribute to a healthy campus climate.

Our consultant informed us last night that they would prefer that the following sessions not be live-streamed to allow for open dialogue in these spaces:

  • Strengthening Access to Basic Needs at Cal Poly: Lessons from the Field (8:30-10 a.m.)
  • Strategies for Actively Developing White Ally-ship (3:10-4:30 p.m.)
  • Understanding the Individual Responsibilities of Faculty and Staff from Diverse Communities (3:10-4:30 p.m.)

The zoom links for these sessions will not be activated and we request you attend in person to participate in these important conversations.  All other sessions today will be accessible via the  zoom links on the Strategic Diversity Leadership Institute website.

Thank you for your understanding,

Jozi De Leon
Vice President for University Diversity and Inclusion

Keith Humphrey
Vice President for Student Affairs

Many of you gave us feedback on your Cal Poly experience through the CPX survey and listening sessions in spring 2019. Now hear the results for yourself and learn how you can help move data into action to shape long-term institutional change.

Register Today. Admission is free. Registration is required through Eventbrite.
